The Sungkyunkwan University, founded in 1398, is a private research university. It has two campuses: the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus in Seoul and the Natural Sciences Campus in Suwon. Today, the university has 35,000 students.

Both bachelor and master students can participate in the program. Single requirement is the completion of the first year of the respective degree at the time of the stay abroad. Knowledge of the korean language is not required. The duration of the stay abroad can be either a semester or a full year. There are no tuition fees.

Requirements fur a successful application are an excellent academic record.
